About the Role
Key duties include designing HVAC motor‑drive and VFD control panels, preparing compliant schematics, and selecting appropriate electrical components. The role also covers EMI analysis, PLC programming, testing, commissioning, and ensuring safety and thermal‑management standards. Collaboration with procurement, assembly, and multidisciplinary engineering teams is required to drive successful project outcomes. • Engineer HVAC motor‑drive, fan, pump, compressor and VFD control panels. • Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and GA drawings per BS7671/IET, IEC, UL standards. • Select, size and integrate components such as MCBs, contactors, relays, and terminal blocks. • Perform EMI analysis and implement mitigation measures according to MIL‑STD‑461. • Program and configure PLCs for HVAC automation. • Conduct testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of panels and motor‑drive systems. • Coordinate with procurement and assembly teams for component acquisition and panel manufacturing. • Lead project scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment and cross‑functional coordination.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is an electrical engineer with 10–15 years of experience in HVAC or electrical panel design. He/she must possess deep knowledge of motor and compressor controls, VFD technology, and be skilled in managing projects from concept through delivery. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and a proactive, customer‑focused attitude are essential. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or higher) and extensive experience with circuit design, power systems, and control hardware are mandatory. Proficiency in VFD architecture, PLC hardware, EMI mitigation per MIL‑STD‑461, and familiarity with BS7671/IET, IEC, and UL standards is expected. Demonstrated project‑management, analytical, and communication skills complete the required profile. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field. • 10–15 years of experience in HVAC and/or electrical panel design. • Expertise in VFD architecture, including rectification, DC‑bus, inverter operation and variable speed control. • Proficiency in PLC hardware selection and programming for HVAC applications. • Knowledge of EMI testing, MIL‑STD‑461 compliance, and relevant electrical standards (BS7671/IET, IEC, UL). • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, project‑management and communication skills. • Customer‑first mindset delivering solutions that meet stakeholder needs. • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities. • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
