About the Role

The role includes gathering tools, measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit, tracing short circuits, and assisting with lifting, positioning, and fastening wiring, conduit, and motors. You will maintain and organize tools and supplies, keep the work area clean, and support senior electricians with installations and terminations under direct supervision. • Gather tools and supplies for the work site • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit • Trace short circuits in wiring • Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening wiring, conduit, and motors • Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies • Clean work area and dispose of scrap and excess materials • Help secure, relocate, and organize materials and small tools • Pull wire and hoist materials under supervision • Operate hand tools under foreman direction • Support senior personnel with electrical installations, connections, and terminations

What You Bring

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of a journeyman-level electrician assisting in the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites. The ideal candidate is pursuing a career in the trade with Facility Solutions Group and must have at least two years of recent electrical experience. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, a current state Apprentice Electrician license, and a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass a background check. Strong verbal and written communication, multitasking, organization, and positive customer service skills are required; lighting experience is a plus. • Mount and strap conduit • Do not work on energized circuits or equipment
