About the Role
The role involves prospecting and converting leads into profitable relationships, leveraging Schneider’s portfolio to create tailored sustainability solutions. The CDM will lead proposal development, coordinating with solutions architects, operations, and delivery teams, and will negotiate and close enterprise‑level contracts for climate‑change, climate‑risk, and supply‑chain services. Performance is measured against personal targets set by leadership, and all prospect information is maintained in Salesforce CRM. Collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations colleagues is expected to continuously improve offerings and go‑to‑market strategies. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with target industrial accounts (prospecting, networking, qualifying). • Develop customized sustainability solutions using Schneider Electric’s portfolio. • Lead sales proposals, coordinating with solution architects, operations, and delivery teams. • Achieve personal performance targets and negotiate/close enterprise-level sustainability contracts. • Maintain accurate prospect data in Salesforce CRM.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree and have a proven record of selling professional services to senior executives in the U.S. commercial or industrial sector, preferably within energy, sustainability consulting, cleantech, or related industries. Experience managing long, complex sales cycles (six to twelve months) and closing multi‑figure agreements is essential. A working understanding of Scope 1‑3 emissions, supply‑chain sustainability challenges, and science‑based emission‑reduction targets is preferred. Strong research, lead‑generation, negotiation, and digital proficiency (Microsoft Office, Salesforce) are required. • Minimum bachelor’s degree; proven executive‑level sales experience in energy, sustainability or related services. • Demonstrated ability to manage long, complex sales cycles (6‑12 months) and close multi‑figure deals. • Knowledge of Scope 1‑3 emissions, supply‑chain sustainability and science‑based targets preferred. • Strong research, lead generation, and negotiation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

Benefits
This full‑time U.S. position offers a base salary range of $95,000‑$110,000 plus uncapped commission.
