About the Role
Cleaners maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across the store, and Arcus will provide full training to support you. • Operate cleaning machinery safely. • Perform thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping. • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies inside the store. • Maintain clean trolley bays outdoors, removing leaves and debris. • Follow all health and safety procedures. • Provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect attendance app.

Arcus is recruiting a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury’s Monks Cross store on a fixed‑term basis, offering 18 hours per week at £12.21 per hour with an immediate start. The role follows a shift pattern of early mornings: Sunday 07:00‑10:00, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 05:00‑08:00, with Wednesday off, and provides opportunities for overtime. • Immediate start and monthly pay. • Entitled to 28 days of holiday on a pro‑rated basis. • Flexible hours with overtime opportunities. • Coverage by death‑in‑service insurance and enrollment in a pension scheme. • Eligibility for the Cycle to Work scheme. • Opportunities for further career progression. • Access to training and development programmes.
