About the Role
The position combines responsibility for developing and managing site‑specific training plans, coordinating training delivery, maintaining training records, and conducting needs analyses to ensure compliance with site and emergency requirements. It also oversees fleet maintenance schedules, repairs, fuel card administration, and liaises with suppliers, leasers and drivers to coordinate vehicle servicing. This dual focus supports Ventia’s Western Power contract, which delivers maintenance services across the transmission and distribution network and serves customers in city, regional and remote communities. • Develop and manage site-specific training plans, inductions, and schedules • Coordinate training delivery with Western Power, external providers, and Ventia’s Learning team • Maintain accurate records of training, licences, and competencies • Conduct training needs analysis and ensure compliance with site and emergency requirements • Drive continuous improvement by updating training resources and processes • Manage fleet maintenance schedules, repairs, fuel cards, and compliance • Liaise with suppliers, leasers, and drivers to coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs

What You Bring
• Strong administrative or coordination background • Proficiency with MS Office and systems (SHEQ, VisRes, MS Project – highly regarded) • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Can‑do attitude and strong relationship‑building skills • High attention to detail and willingness to take initiative • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable but not essential)
