About the Role
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment. • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and other IaC tools. • Manage AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS, RDS, VPC, S3, etc.) for scalable, cost‑effective solutions. • Collaborate cross‑functionally to support smooth product launches and updates. • Monitor environments and applications to ensure availability, performance, and reliability. • Ensure security and compliance through best practices in secrets management, access control, and vulnerability remediation. • Participate in incident management, including root cause analysis and out‑of‑hours support.

What You Bring
Arcus FM is seeking a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about automation, scalability and reliability. The role offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly influence product delivery and operational efficiency. You will bridge development and operations, helping to automate infrastructure, manage cloud environments and optimise software delivery, while working remotely with occasional visits to our Redditch or Cirencester sites. • 2+ years’ experience in a DevOps engineering role. • Strong hands‑on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Docker. • Solid grasp of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins. • Scripting skills in Bash or Python. • Background in Linux/Unix system administration. • Knowledge of monitoring tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, and PagerDuty. • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and tools like GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence. • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities. • Automation‑first mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (desirable). • AWS Associate certification(s) (desirable). • Terraform Associate certification (desirable). • Experience with container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes) (desirable).
