About the Role

The Maintenance Technician at Parq on Boulder supports residents by ensuring quality move‑ins, high residential satisfaction, and swift, personalized service. This role is accountable for delivering on commitments to residents and representing Cush‑Wakefield professionally at all times. Core duties include preparing make‑ready apartments—painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping—to provide a seamless move‑in experience. Technicians respond to resident requests promptly, perform maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal, and keep grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and the dog park clean and safe. The position may require on‑call availability for after‑hour emergencies, reporting maintenance concerns on vacant units and common areas, and completing scheduled work assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Technicians must follow fair‑housing laws, attend required training, adhere to uniform and safety standards, and maintain reliable attendance. • Perform make‑ready tasks for apartments, including painting, carpet repair, cleaning, and general repairs. • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests. • Maintain plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow‑removal systems. • Keep grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and the dog park clean, safe, and operational. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and report maintenance issues to the supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair‑housing regulations and complete required training. • Adhere to company uniform, safety procedures, and professional appearance standards. • Maintain reliable and punctual attendance. • Read technical manuals, perform basic math, and write routine reports.

Required competencies include a valid driver’s license, EPA‑608 Type II certification, the ability to read technical manuals, perform basic math, solve routine problems, and write routine reports. Employees must follow all safety procedures and possess common‑sense judgment to execute written or diagrammed instructions. Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical education and at least one year of related maintenance experience. The work environment combines a professional office setting with regular travel between properties, standing, walking, stair climbing, and occasional lifting of up to 100 lb. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA‑608 Type II certification. • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical certification. • Have at least one year of related maintenance experience. • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lb and travel between properties as needed.
