About the Role
The Civil Infrastructure Inspector will ensure contractors adhere to contract documents, health, safety, quality, and quantity requirements. The role involves daily coordination with other teams, processing inspection requests and technical submittals, and taking necessary actions to maintain compliance. Key responsibilities include familiarizing with contract drawings, specifications, and safety measures, and verifying contractor compliance with Ministry of Works standards. The inspector will supervise site inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer, maintain daily reports on work orders, material deliveries, manpower, and equipment, and implement quality control procedures. Coordination with the contractor, Ministry of Works staff, and preparation of measurements, surveying checks, and commissioning support are also required. Problem resolution, QA/QC monitoring, and record‑keeping of material tests and executed works complete the duties. • Ensure contractor compliance with contract documents, standards, and health & safety measures. • Conduct site supervision, inspections, and daily reporting to Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer. • Coordinate contractor resources, manpower, equipment, and material deliveries. • Monitor QA/QC activities, maintain records, and audit inspections for conformity. • Prepare measurements, surveying checks, and support commissioning and handover processes. • Liaise with Ministry of Works and Authority staff during site inspections. • Resolve site issues promptly in collaboration with RE/ARE.

What You Bring
Applicants must have at least 12 years of experience in bridge, earthwork, and road infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East, with a background in construction or supervision. Required skills include high‑level critical thinking, strong numerical ability, excellent English communication, and proficiency with computer technology for data management and reporting. Knowledge of Ministry of Works and Authority construction standards is essential. • Minimum 12 years experience in bridge, earthwork, and road infrastructure projects. • Strong critical thinking, numerical, and English communication skills. • Proficiency in computer technology for data access, record keeping, and reporting.
