About the Role
The structural team focuses on creating efficient, innovative solutions for a variety of building systems, emphasizing comfort, sustainability, and resilience across heavy‑construction, transit, industrial, water/wastewater, and dam projects, while leveraging building information modeling for collaboration. In this role, the engineer will collaborate closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, applying a customer‑focused mindset to deliver high‑quality results on projects that span buildings, transit stations, industrial facilities, and water‑treatment structures. • Perform and verify structural design and analysis calculations. • Prepare construction drawings, plans, and specifications for vertical structures. • Develop contract documents, including detailed plans and specifications. • Conduct structural calculations complying with the Building Code and jurisdictional amendments. • Review shop drawings and contractor submittals for compliance. • Conduct on‑site structural observations for existing and new constructions. • Write clear summary and detailed engineering reports. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. • Execute finite‑element modeling for complex structural systems. • Apply steel and concrete design expertise to project requirements. • Prioritize tasks, multitask, and adjust priorities based on client needs.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, be a licensed Professional Engineer, and bring at least ten years of structural design experience on complex projects; proficiency with analysis software such as RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, STAAD, Mathcad, and Revit is essential, and a SE certification is preferred. • Utilize broad knowledge of engineering principles, building codes, materials, and construction techniques.
