About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. Core duties include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, managing work orders and inventory, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining positive relationships across the facility. • Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment. • Perform preventative maintenance and document all activities. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts, and inventory. • Mentor junior technicians and support their development. • Maintain positive communication across all operations areas. • Utilize a CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite to manage documentation.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyors, two years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience, and one year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading. Additional requirements include knowledge of electrical principles, experience with a CMMS, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and flexibility to work varied shifts. Preferred qualifications include an associate or higher degree in mechanical or electrical fields, familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines, experience with robotic operation and maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot basic I/O functions. The role requires physical abilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using an aerial lift, and lifting up to 50 lb, as well as wearing required PPE and working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and occasional computer use. • Meet physical requirements: lift up to 50 lb, work at heights, and wear required PPE. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years MHE repair experience. • Possess 2+ years predictive/preventative maintenance experience and 1+ year blueprint reading ability. • Preferred: associate degree in mechanical/electrical, robotic operation experience, and knowledge of MHE safety standards.
