About the Role
In this role you will lead daily site construction, ensure crews meet production goals, enforce MasTec and industry safety standards, oversee operations, maintain paperwork, and coordinate with customers. You will also train crew members, keep equipment operational, validate timesheets, and mentor newer technicians. • Implement MasTec Communications Group Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI standards. • Ensure site safety requirements are met for the crew. • Oversee daily operations and quality of work at assigned sites. • Complete and file daily site paperwork and close‑out documentation. • Upload close‑out documents to customer interfaces and coordinate with customer representatives. • Provide leadership, guidance, and on‑the‑job training to crew members. • Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition. • Validate daily timesheets for management. • Mentor new or less‑experienced technicians. • Solve complex problems using a hands‑on approach. • Read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and statements of work. • Maintain FDOT log books (training provided) and meet company driver‑record policy.

What You Bring
The position requires a high‑school diploma or GED, at least five years of industry experience, and strong knowledge of construction, rigging, and safety regulations. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain relevant certifications, possess a valid driver’s license, be physically fit to climb towers and lift 50 lb, and be proficient with plans, RFDS, and documentation. • Demonstrate a strong safety record and high‑quality workmanship. • Possess certifications such as First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, Connector attachment; WSA certification is a plus. • Ability to climb towers, lift 50 lb, and work up to 12 hours per day. • Strong organizational, computer (Excel, Word), and communication skills.
