About the Role

In this role you will respond to service calls, diagnose and repair electronic fire alarm and related building systems, and ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely completion of work. • Receive and document service calls from the Service Resource Center • Contact customer representatives to diagnose equipment or system issues • Troubleshoot, repair, and install electronic fire alarm and related building systems • Follow technical manuals, bulletins, and change notices during repairs • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and product manuals • Provide excellent customer service and maintain communication throughout service calls • Complete service acknowledgements with proper coding via smartphone or laptop • Obtain customer signatures upon completion of service assignments • Participate in an on‑call rotation and mentor team members as needed • Submit all required documentation, including productivity and activity reports, on time • Provide recommendations, quotes, and upselling opportunities to improve facility efficiency

What You Bring

The position requires troubleshooting, panel programming, low‑voltage circuit repair, and the ability to work in challenging environments such as ladders, crawl spaces, and high‑rise locations, with occasional weekend and on‑call duties. Candidates must have at least four years of experience with low‑voltage fire and life‑safety systems, a high school diploma or equivalent, the physical ability to handle equipment up to 70 lb, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer‑service and communication skills; NICET Level II certification is strongly preferred. • Minimum 4 years documented experience with low‑voltage electrical systems, fire/life safety, access control, nurse call, or paging systems • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals • Proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters and digital analyzers • High school diploma or equivalent • Capability to lift and carry equipment up to 50‑70 lb and work at heights up to 40 ft • Flexibility to work weekends and on‑call hours as required • Strong written and verbal communication and customer‑service skills • Valid driver’s license meeting company standards and compliance with applicable codes • Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures • NICET Level II certification preferred
