About the Role
The role is responsible for overseeing the preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in alignment with IFRS, IndAS, and local statutory requirements. It ensures full compliance with tax, regulatory, and audit obligations across all geographies and leads statutory, internal, group, and tax audits, addressing issues promptly. Additionally, the function strengthens internal control and governance frameworks and maintains overall regional regulatory compliance. Accounting operations cover the holding company and its subsidiaries operating in multiple verticals. The incumbent keeps all standard operating procedures current, ensures the Global Service Center meets its service level agreements for accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger, and harmonizes accounting policies across business units. Efficient month‑end and year‑end closing processes are maintained while developing, implementing, and supporting ERP systems and their integrations. In FP&A, the leader drives the annual budgeting, long‑range planning, and rolling forecasts, partnering with business units to deliver variance analysis, scenario planning, and performance dashboards. The role provides forward‑looking, prescriptive insights on growth opportunities, risks, and efficiency levers, advising on cost control, profitability, and capital allocation decisions. Standardized models and reporting tools are built for senior management and the board. Strategic partnering involves advising the CFO and leadership team on financial performance, market trends, and cost‑optimization opportunities. The function supports M&A due diligence and post‑merger integration from both accounting and FP&A perspectives and contributes to ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks. Leadership and transformation responsibilities include building, leading, and mentoring a high‑performing finance team spanning controllership and FP&A. The role drives finance transformation initiatives such as ERP upgrades, process automation, and advanced analytics adoption while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, IndAS, and local regulations. • Ensure tax, regulatory, and audit compliance across all operating geographies. • Lead statutory, internal, group, and tax audits, and resolve identified issues promptly. • Strengthen internal control and governance frameworks to mitigate risk. • Oversee accounting for the holding company and multi‑vertical subsidiaries, harmonizing policies and processes. • Maintain up‑to‑date standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all finance functions. • Ensure the Global Service Center meets service level agreements for accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger. • Streamline month‑end and year‑end closing cycles to reduce processing time. • Develop, implement, and maintain ERP systems, including integration with other platforms. • Lead the annual budgeting, long‑range planning, and rolling forecast processes. • Deliver variance analysis, scenario planning, and performance dashboards to business units. • Provide prescriptive insights on growth opportunities, risks, and efficiency improvements. • Advise business units on cost control, profitability, and operational efficiency. • Support capital allocation, investment appraisal, and ROI tracking initiatives. • Build standardized FP&A models and reporting tools for senior management and the board. • Counsel the CFO and leadership on financial performance, market trends, and cost‑optimization strategies. • Conduct M&A due diligence and oversee post‑merger integration from accounting and FP&A perspectives. • Contribute to ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks. • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high‑performing finance team across controllership and FP&A. • Drive finance transformation projects such as ERP upgrades, process automation, and advanced analytics adoption. • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance organization.
