About the Role

The QA Representative will conduct daily construction observations, enforce safety standards, and implement Parsons’ QA process according to the project’s supplemental Quality Assurance Plan. Responsibilities include inspecting work, reviewing contractor submittals, monitoring submittal timelines, commenting on construction methods, performing compliance inspections, documenting findings, and submitting daily QA reports within 24 hours. The role also involves attending pre‑construction, progress, and coordination meetings, tracking deficiencies, verifying corrective actions, and conducting preparatory inspections to confirm readiness of materials, personnel, and equipment.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of construction‑related experience providing safety and quality assurance oversight on large, multi‑million‑dollar federal projects that involve earthwork, concrete placement, and supporting infrastructure. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management—or equivalent experience—along with familiarity with web‑based project management systems such as Procore, Kahua, USACE RMS, or NAVFAC eCMS is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, pass federal background checks, hold a valid driver’s license, be physically capable of working on rough terrain, communicate effectively in English, and be able to obtain a DHS suitability determination. Desired qualifications include experience reviewing Critical Path Management schedules, working on remote large‑scale construction projects, and completing a Construction Quality Management or equivalent course within the past five years, as well as OSHA 30‑hour safety training. No security clearance is required for this position. • Minimum 5 years of QA and safety oversight on large federal construction projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience. • Proficiency with web‑based project management/QA tools (e.g., Procore, Kahua, USACE RMS, NAVFAC eCMS). • U.S. citizenship with ability to pass federal background checks and obtain DHS suitability. • Valid driver’s license and physical capability to work on rough terrain and stand for extended periods. • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. • Experience reviewing Critical Path Management schedules and addressing schedule delays. • Completion of a Construction Quality Management (CQM) or equivalent course within the past five years. • OSHA 30‑hour safety training or comparable recent safety certification.
