About the Role
The Assembler I at AAON is tasked with the precise and efficient assembly of components and sub‑assemblies according to blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions, ensuring that every product meets the company's high‑quality standards. Key duties involve interpreting engineering documentation, employing hand and power tools along with measuring devices, performing repetitive assembly tasks with meticulous attention to detail, inspecting finished parts for defects, and reporting any non‑conforming materials to a supervisor. The role also requires maintaining a clean, organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, operating light machinery when needed, collaborating with team members to optimize workflow, and participating in continuous‑improvement initiatives and training programs. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for assembly. • Perform repetitive assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail. • Inspect assembled parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met. • Report non‑conforming materials or quality issues to supervisors. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols. • Operate light machinery required for fan assembly processes. • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
