About the Role
As a Skilled Laborer/Groundman you will support all phases of utility construction on diverse telecom projects, believing in doing the job right and being the best. You will perform manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites with hand tools, work outdoors, transport heavy equipment daily, build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems, troubleshoot problems in the field, and learn to use various tools and equipment. • Dig trenches, unload materials, and prepare job sites using hand tools. • Transport heavy equipment to and from the site each day. • Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems. • Troubleshoot field problems as they arise. • Learn and operate various telecom construction tools and equipment.

What You Bring
Safety is a daily priority and you have a proven record of high-quality workmanship. You possess strong problem-solving skills, enjoy a hands-on approach, and are looking for long-term projects while getting your hands dirty with a team. A valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and a willingness to learn telecom trades such as coax or fiber splicing are required, and relevant MOS codes are considered a plus. • Hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. • Demonstrate strong safety practices and high-quality workmanship. • Possess strong problem-solving skills and a hands‑on work style. • Relevant military occupational specialties (e.g., 12K, 12N, 21E) are a plus.

The role offers an hourly rate of $28‑$32 based on experience, along with overtime pay in accordance with California law.
