About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services, and ensuring the vehicle complies with the company's safety standards. Daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) must be completed to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operating the truck along assigned routes, loading and compacting refuse, and disposing of material at designated facilities. The driver must monitor waste for unacceptable items, tag unsatisfactory containers, clean accidental spills, and keep the vehicle clean and operational to minimize downtime.
