About the Role

The Vacuum Bell Operator will operate multiple vacuum chambers, including all moves in and out, electrical connections, and thermocouple placement. The role involves analyzing computer input data for the bell cycle, determining necessary adjustments for proper heating and vacuum processes, and deciding the run sequence and load per bell to maximize throughput. The operator moves the transformer to the vacuum chamber for drying, makes electrical connections per engineering instructions, assesses unit dryness based on criteria and blip levels, fills tanks to required levels, checks for leaks, unloads units, prepares them for final testing, and handles loading and unloading of the pre‑heater. • Analyze computer data for bell cycles and adjust heating/vacuum processes as needed. • Determine run sequence and load per bell to maximize throughput. • Move transformer to vacuum chamber for drying and make electrical connections per engineering instructions. • Assess unit dryness using criteria and blip levels. • Fill tanks to required levels and inspect for leaks. • Unload units, prepare for final testing, and queue for final test. • Load and unload the pre‑heater. • Operate cranes, material handling equipment, and hand tools.

What You Bring

The position requires use of cranes, material handling equipment, and small hand tools. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, reside within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility (unless active‑duty military), and no relocation assistance is provided.
