About the Role
The position provides end‑to‑end project management, leadership, and coordination for transformational initiatives, covering scope, schedule, cost, and risk. You will align financial and operational goals, direct work teams, develop strategic sequencing, and ensure adequate resources are available throughout the project lifecycle. • Serve as project controller, managing budgeting, forecasting, tracking actuals, and ensuring timely project closure and reconciliation. • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and secure approvals while coordinating dependencies across initiatives. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, WBS, milestone schedules, and cost/benefit estimates; monitor gaps and execute closure plans. • Manage internal and external resources, contracts, payments, and mentor junior team members to optimize skill utilization and cost. • Oversee scope changes, identify risks/issues, and create mitigation and contingency strategies throughout the project lifecycle. • Communicate status to all organizational levels and foster collaborative relationships to enhance efficiency and resource allocation.

Three career levels are available—Project Manager I ($84,900‑$120,566), II ($97,600‑$138,600), and III ($112,200‑$159,400)—each with increasing experience requirements, from 3 years to 10 years of project‑management and process‑improvement experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field. All levels require strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, business, IT or related field; 3‑10+ years of project management and process‑improvement experience, with utility experience preferred. • Demonstrate strong presentation, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills; ability to lead, influence, and adapt in cross‑functional teams. • Preferred: formal project‑management training, informal leadership experience, vendor/contract management expertise.
