About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Manager. Join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and be accountable for all responsive, planned, and project works delivered under the contract for the assigned region, and when required, across the broader contract. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support essential services. The role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities covering operational delivery, team leadership, service partner management, service consistency, and compliance. You will oversee the regional delivery of responsive, planned and project work, manage Works Supervisors and Project Managers, select and monitor Service Delivery Partners, ensure smooth service delivery, drive improvements, and uphold a regional compliance regime. At Downer we plan, create, and sustain essential public services across Australia and New Zealand, managing critical infrastructure from hospitals to data centres and defence partnerships, keeping communities thriving. • Oversee responsive, planned and project operational delivery for the region. • Manage Works Supervisors and Project Managers to meet customer service levels and exceed contract and business KPIs. • Select and monitor Service Delivery Partners, ensuring agreement terms are met. • Ensure smooth, consistent service delivery and drive continuous improvements. • Implement and manage the regional compliance regime.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a qualification in Building and Construction Management, Business Administration or a related field, along with a valid Building License. You bring extensive experience managing planned works programs and delivering contracts that utilise Service Delivery Partners, as well as strong experience evaluating SDP performance and a background in domestic building environments. A strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality outcomes are essential. • Qualification in Building and Construction Management, Business Administration or related field. • Valid Building License. • Extensive experience managing and delivering planned works programs in a similar role or industry. • Proven experience delivering contracts using Service Delivery Partners. • Experience evaluating Service Delivery Partner performance. • Background in building and construction management, especially domestic building environments. • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
