About the Role
We are seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer to lead complex development initiatives, guide junior developers, and influence the platform’s strategic direction. The role involves designing scalable solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules while collaborating closely with architects and process owners. Key responsibilities include leading development for at least two ServiceNow products—ITSM and CMDB are required—and building advanced configurations such as Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, ACLs, and Flow Designer logic. The developer will also create and maintain Scripted REST APIs, integrations, and data workflows, and support upgrades, patches, and regression testing. Additional duties involve troubleshooting complex issues, performing root‑cause analysis, reviewing and mentoring junior developers, and constructing catalog items, record producers, and workflow automations. Maintaining data quality across ITOM, CMDB, SAM, HAM, and ITSM and documenting designs, scripts, and configuration changes are also essential. • Lead development for ITSM and CMDB modules. • Build and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, UI components, and Flow Designer logic. • Develop JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, and AngularJS solutions. • Create Scripted REST APIs and IntegrationHub workflows. • Support platform upgrades, patches, and regression testing. • Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis. • Mentor and review work of junior developers. • Ensure data quality across ITOM, CMDB, SAM, HAM, and ITSM. • Document designs, scripts, and configuration changes.

What You Bring
Core technical skills required are strong client‑ and server‑side JavaScript, deep experience with Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and IntegrationHub, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and AngularJS. Understanding of CMDB relationships, Service Portal customization, ACLs, ATF, ITIL processes, and scoped app development is also critical. The ideal candidate has 4–7+ years of ServiceNow development experience, a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent experience), and solid knowledge of platform architecture and best practices. Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments, CSA, CAD, or CIS certifications, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers are highly valued. • Possess 4–7+ years of ServiceNow development experience and a relevant Bachelor’s degree. • Demonstrate strong platform architecture knowledge and Agile delivery experience. • Hold CSA, CAD, or CIS certifications (optional).
