About the Role
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for representing the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members. You will be responsible for designing large projects, preparing reports and specifications, and providing a high level of technical leadership. Additional responsibilities include establishing design standards, supervising report preparation and analysis, and maintaining interdisciplinary coordination. You will also monitor correspondence, oversee construction administration, evaluate employees, contribute to the Technical Leadership Committee, and assist the Technical Director with training and mentoring. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects • Supervise preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions • Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and consultants • Monitor correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, and owners • Supervise construction administration duties (field reports, RFI responses, bulletins, addenda) • Conduct periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations • Participate in the business unit Technical Leadership Committee • Assist the Technical Director with technical training and staff mentoring • Organize fun social events

What You Bring
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer • Design to join our team in Dubai, UAE. Our team is looking for a candidate with significant mechanical design experience, specifically with data center or critical facilities projects. This candidate will be office based and will help grow our team and manage and develop our young engineers. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution and at least 10 years of consulting experience in the MEP engineering industry. Candidates must have data center design experience and strong hands‑on design skills with CAD/REVIT. Preference is given to candidates already in the UAE, and the position needs to be filled within one month.
