About the Role
The role emphasizes uncompromising safety excellence and requires a self‑starter attitude. Responsibilities include routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of crushing, screening, and conveying equipment, as well as troubleshooting mechanical issues, welding, equipment installation, and record‑keeping. • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on crushing, screening, and conveying equipment. • Troubleshoot mechanical issues with crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and other plant systems. • Replace or repair bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, liners, and related components. • Conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication to repair or modify equipment and structures. • Assist with installation, alignment, and setup of new plant equipment. • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records. • Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations. • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and man lifts for maintenance tasks. • Follow lockout/tagout procedures, safety policies, and environmental regulations. • Participate in daily safety meetings and promptly report equipment issues.

What You Bring
The Princeton Quarry in Princeton, KY, an underground limestone mine, is seeking a full‑time Night Shift Maintenance Technician. The shift runs approximately from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., and starting pay is $27 per hour, which includes a $22 base rate plus a $5 shift differential, with rates adjusted for experience. Candidates must demonstrate a strong dedication to safe work practices, possess prior maintenance experience, and have the mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair plant equipment. Availability for the night shift, overtime, weekends, and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions are required, along with successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen. • Demonstrate strong commitment to safe work practices. • Possess prior maintenance experience in industrial or quarry environments. • Show mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs. • Available to work the regular 4 p.m.–2 a.m. night shift, including overtime and weekends. • Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions. • Able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
