About the Role
Key duties include providing in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses and programs, and consulting directly to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. The engineer is accountable for accurate, complete, and timely work, ensuring proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, standards, and codes. Additional responsibilities involve independent research, recommending new equipment or techniques, and supporting emergency response, outage activities, and departmental coverage. • Provide technical expertise for engineering analysis, design, and problem resolution in nuclear plant operations. • Manage engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and configuration management. • Conduct independent research and recommend equipment or design improvements. • Support emergency response, outage activities, and departmental coverage as needed. • Maintain required access permissions and pass a favorable medical examination.

What You Bring
The Primary Purpose of the position is to perform advanced technical and engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. The role carries responsibility for technical decisions and requires deep knowledge of functional disciplines, industry codes, and regulations. Minimum qualifications vary by level: Entry‑Level (E01) engineers must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering and meet access and medical requirements. Mid‑level (E02) engineers need the same degree plus two years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Senior (E03) engineers require five years of nuclear or related experience. All levels must maintain required access permissions and pass a favorable medical examination. Preferred qualifications include an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline; 0‑5 years of nuclear or related experience depending on level. • Preferred: Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
