About the Role
The Manager, Corporate Strategy partners with functional leaders to shape Enterprise-level strategy for Republic Services. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams on a variety of strategic initiatives, including functional strategy development, performance improvement, business-development evaluation, and transformation implementation. Core activities involve market and industry research, financial and operational analysis, stakeholder communication, project planning, and change management. Key responsibilities include analyzing external trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities, providing internal consulting support to solve complex organizational problems, and helping Business Strategy & Transformation teams prioritize and execute strategic actions. The manager conducts deep industry research, market analysis, competitive intelligence, risk and profitability assessments, and builds financial models. Findings and recommendations are presented to senior leaders both in written reports and verbal briefings. • Develop enterprise-level strategy by analyzing external trends and competitive landscape. • Provide internal consulting support to cross‑functional leaders on complex organizational issues. • Identify, develop, and execute strategic actions with financial and operational impact assessment. • Conduct industry research, market analysis, competitive intelligence, risk assessment, and profitability analysis. • Build financial models and generate insights from large data sets. • Present recommendations to senior stakeholders in written reports and verbal briefings. • Apply hypothesis‑driven approach to ambiguous business problems. • Perform quantitative financial analysis and modeling. • Create high‑quality presentation materials for executives and board members. • Manage stakeholder engagement on time‑sensitive, cross‑functional projects. • Utilize change‑management principles to support transformation initiatives. • Effectively manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities with limited supervision.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate brings top-tier experience in management or strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or similar general-management roles. They excel at hypothesis-driven problem solving, quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and translating large data sets into actionable insights. Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, familiarity with change-management methodologies, and proficiency in MS Office are required, along with high integrity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A minimum of three years’ experience in project management, change methodologies, and business consulting & analytics is required.
