About the Role
The Environmental Services Field Technician I (Driver Non‑CDL) performs operational functions related to emergency response, hazardous and non‑hazardous spill cleanup, and Hazmat decontamination. This role involves both routine and after‑hours responsibilities to ensure safe and efficient remediation of spills. Typical duties include confined‑space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping, shoveling, high‑pressure washing, and other remedial activities. The technician operates a variety of light and heavy equipment, including roll‑off trucks, vacuum trucks, box trucks, skid steers, forklifts, pumps, and pallet‑jacks, and conducts pre‑trip and post‑trip DOT inspections and vehicle logging.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications include the ability to use heavy and light equipment, proficiency with hand and shop tools, and strong attention to detail. Candidates must possess current 40‑hour HAZWOPER training, be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and hold a valid DOT‑qualified driver’s license (non‑CDL) for vehicles weighing 10k‑26k pounds.
