Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property managers work independently at multiple locations, both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, suggest solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units for inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and contacting customers for payment reminders and collections. • Work flexible full‑time hours (9:30 am‑6 pm, weekends to 5 pm). • Assess customer storage needs and sell packing/moving supplies. • Inspect storage units daily to verify inventory and availability. • Audit cash drawers and prepare bank deposits each day. • Make payment reminder and collection calls to maintain account currentness. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and spend up to 50 % of shift outdoors. • Perform cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and maintain exterior curb appeal.

What You Bring

Physical requirements include the ability to lift or move items up to 35 lb, walking around facilities and spending up to 50 % of time outdoors, navigating stairs and large doors, and performing cleaning and basic maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and keeping grounds free of debris. Successful candidates have experience in customer‑service‑oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or fast food, and must hold a valid driver’s license and use their own vehicle for travel between sites (mileage reimbursement provided).
