About the Role
The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, designs solutions for complex problems, manages projects, and mentors both service and contract technicians. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Lead and audit preventative‑maintenance procedures and mentor junior technicians. • Maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and several years of experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, blueprint reading, CMMS and PLC systems, as well as proven team‑lead and vendor‑management abilities. Preferred qualifications include an associate or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field and hands‑on experience with robotic operation and maintenance. The role requires physical capabilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lb, wearing required PPE, and moving between departments across a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. • 4+ years experience with material handling equipment and preventative maintenance. • 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics. • 3+ years using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • 2+ years programming PLCs. • Experience in team‑lead, training, mentoring, and vendor management. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts. • Associate’s or higher degree in mechanical/electrical field (preferred). • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance (preferred). • Physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use an aerial lift, lift up to 50 lb, and wear required PPE. • Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and walk 6‑12 miles per day between departments.
