About the Role

During the internship, the candidate will assist with hydrogeochemical projects that serve the mining, oil and gas, power, and solid‑waste sectors. Responsibilities include field investigations, data validation, management, interpretation, and analysis of water and geological samples while adhering to ethical and safety standards. • Support hydrogeochemical projects (permits, baseline studies, operations, reclamation/remediation) for mining and other industries • Conduct field work and validate, manage, interpret, and analyze data on groundwater, surface water, wastes, and geological materials • Perform geochemical investigations and characterization studies • Complete assigned training and follow WSP’s Code of Conduct and safety policies

What You Bring

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Geochemistry, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field, graduating in August 2026 or later, be at least 18 years old, and have U.S. work authorization. The position offers an hourly salary ranging from $20.87 to $28.62. • Enrolled in an accredited Geochemistry/Geology/Hydrogeology undergraduate program, graduating August 2026 or later • 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States • Strong interest in geochemistry, effective communication skills, and ability to follow direction • Basic proficiency in technical writing, office software, spreadsheets, and data tools • Commitment to workplace safety and ability to pass motor‑vehicle screening • Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs • Preferred: enrollment in a master's or PhD program • Preferred: prior internship experience or campus leadership involvement
