About the Role
The Senior Internal Communications Specialist will advance DP World’s strategic priorities across the Americas, focusing on safety, sustainability, and alignment with global initiatives. The role develops and executes internal communications that raise awareness, drive engagement, and inspire action, acting as a critical connector between Business Units, the Americas region, and Head Office. In addition, the specialist supports high‑impact initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, transformation programs, and vertical‑specific projects, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure clear, transparent messaging throughout each lifecycle. • Develop and implement internal communications strategies for regional safety and sustainability initiatives. • Partner with safety and sustainability teams to deliver consistent messaging and highlight program impact stories. • Serve as a communications bridge between the Americas region and Head Office, ensuring alignment with global messaging and brand standards. • Facilitate sharing of best practices, assets, and success stories across Business Units. • Support enterprise‑wide initiatives such as EVP, Global Safety Day, transformation, and leadership communications. • Plan and execute strategic communications for mergers and acquisitions, including employee engagement and change management. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure transparent, timely communication throughout M&A processes. • Monitor and evaluate internal communications effectiveness, using data to drive continuous improvement. • Stay current on industry trends and innovations to evolve communication strategies and tools.
