About the Role
The Community Manager oversees all operations of an on‑site housing community under the Regional Manager’s supervision. Responsibilities include personnel leadership, leasing, maintenance, financial management, administration and risk mitigation. The role requires daily on‑site presence and compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards and fair‑housing guidelines. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. • Manage budgeting, rent collection, vendor invoices, and strive for optimal net operating income. • Develop and execute annual marketing and leasing plans, show units, and process lease documentation. • Address resident concerns, implement retention programs, and ensure high resident satisfaction. • Oversee administrative reporting, emergency response, and maintenance operations, including inspections and work‑order completion.

What You Bring
The position demands regular standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb and occasional stooping, kneeling or crawling. Reliable transportation is required to meet emergency on‑call responsibilities. • Minimum 2 years experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.); affordable‑housing certifications preferred. • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or Certified Apartment Manager preferred. • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, OSHA standards, and proficiency with on‑site software. • Ability to lift up to 25 lb and perform regular on‑site duties; reliable transportation for on‑call emergencies.

Benefits
Compensation is determined by skill set, experience, certifications and other factors, and includes a comprehensive total‑rewards package. The advertised salary range is $30 per year to $30 per year.
