About the Role
• Gather tools and supplies for the work site. • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit. • Trace short circuits in wiring. • Assist with lifting, positioning, and fastening wiring, conduit, and motors. • Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies. • Clean work areas and dispose of scrap. • Pull wire and hoist materials under supervision. • Operate hand tools and equipment as directed. • Support senior electricians with installations, connections, and terminations.

What You Bring
FSG’s San Antonio team is expanding and seeking an Apprentice Electrician. Working under the guidance of a journeyman electrician, the apprentice will assist with the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems on commercial sites, gaining hands‑on experience toward a career in the trade. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, a current State Apprentice Electrician’s license, and a valid driver’s license, and they must pass a background check. The role requires strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, a positive customer‑service attitude, and the ability to multitask; prior lighting experience is a plus. • Mount and strap conduit. • High School Diploma or GED required. • Current State Apprentice Electrician’s license required. • Pass background screening and hold a valid driver’s license. • Ability to multitask and stay organized. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Positive customer service attitude. • Lighting experience a plus.
