Yard Associate

About the Role

The Porter / Yard Worker (Yard Associate) is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the site, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, servicing equipment as needed, and inspecting items before and after rental to document any loss or damage.

What You Bring

Candidates should preferably have a high school diploma or GED and experience with common construction and industrial tools. Prior experience or training in mechanical equipment repair is also valued. The role requires strong communication skills, basic math abilities, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, general mechanical aptitude, a safety-focused mindset, and bilingual ability (Spanish or other) where required. • High school diploma or GED preferred • Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred • Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred • Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral) • Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide) • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc) • General mechanical aptitude • Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs

Base pay ranges from $17.75 to $23.72 per hour, depending on location, education, training, and experience.
