About the Role
The Lead Financial Control will manage day‑to‑day accounting, period close, inter‑company, and reporting tasks within the Record to Report function, ensuring timely and accurate financial results. They will support the FA&R Team Lead in process governance, performance monitoring and issue resolution, while supervising a team of Finance Professionals and acting as the subject‑matter expert for period‑end discussions. • Oversee general ledger, inter‑company, and reporting tasks ensuring accuracy and timely completion. • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS and local GAAP. • Act as subject‑matter expert for period‑end processes and represent the team in discussions. • Supervise and develop Finance Controllers, reviewing journal entries, reconciliations and reports. • Execute period‑end activities, prepare and post journals with full audit trail, and resolve inter‑company reconciliations. • Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring ICFR compliance and supporting audits. • Deliver accurate journal processes and reconciliations with comprehensive documentation. • Meet reporting deadlines and resolve queries within SLA targets.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with a CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred, and at least eight years of accounting or shared‑services experience including supervisory roles. Deep SAP knowledge, strong understanding of consolidation and reporting processes, advanced Excel skills (including macros), and familiarity with IFRS, UK GAAP, statutory disclosures and foreign‑currency translation are required. • Require 8+ years of accounting/shared‑services experience with supervisory background and deep SAP knowledge. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance; CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred. • Possess advanced Excel skills, including macros, and strong knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP.
