About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous waste removal services. The driver must ensure the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards before operation, adhere to all company, state and federal regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, safely navigating assigned routes and disposal sites, loading and compacting refuse using manual or automatic controls, and interacting courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues. The driver also tags unsatisfactory containers, cleans accidental spills, monitors vehicle condition, and completes required route, productivity, and VCR reports.

Minimum qualifications include a Class B (or higher) commercial driver’s license with an air‑brake endorsement, a willingness to work a 4 am start Monday‑Friday with occasional Saturdays and up to 10 hours of overtime weekly, and residence on the residential route with weekly pay.
