About the Role
The supervisor will oversee retrofit housing upgrades, alterations, and reactive commercial maintenance across multiple contracts. Responsibilities include coordinating trade services, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment. • Lead and support trade teams to meet contractual obligations. • Coordinate multiple trades across projects and perform hands‑on work when required. • Manage job allocations, respond to trade enquiries, and oversee administrative tasks. • Conduct sign‑offs and audits to ensure compliance with client quality standards. • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Act on Corrective Action Reports and implement service improvements. • Resolve complaints and service requests within KPI timeframes. • Contribute to performance reporting, customer excellence, and operational efficiency. • Assist senior staff with people management and foster a positive team culture. • Oversee trade service coordination and quality assurance.

What You Bring

Candidates must have full working rights in New Zealand. • Minimum 3 years’ construction or trade supervision experience. • Relevant building industry qualification or equivalent experience. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities. • Effective time management handling multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficient computer literacy and business acumen. • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. • Excellent relationship‑building and customer‑focus skills. • Experience in administration management. • Hands‑on trade background across multiple disciplines. • Exposure to housing upgrades, maintenance, or multi‑trade environments. • Additional certifications or technical training. • Experience with large‑scale or government contracts.
