About the Role

The Senior Document Controller supports and establishes quality document management system processes, collecting and analyzing data to back the company Quality Management System. This role creates, formats, edits, organizes, and monitors all company‑controlled documentation across business units, ensuring alignment with company standards and ISO guidelines. Key responsibilities include establishing a compliant quality management system, leading document control projects, managing change control, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement changes, supporting audits, maintaining records retention programs, and continuously improving documentation processes through proactive classification and gap analysis. • Establish and maintain a compliant quality management system. • Create and manage document control projects and plans. • Oversee document change control processes. • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for timely change implementation. • Regulate change approvals and ensure qualified updates to released documentation. • Support internal and external audits. • Review and revise business policies for records information management compliance. • Perform regular data entry and document formatting. • Manage document storage, records retention, and disposition of physical/digital records. • Proactively classify, organize, and improve documentation. • Develop and execute multiple action plans with limited support. • Identify and report documentation gaps. • Analyze problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. • Active participation in on‑site daily toolbox meetings. • Lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 lb; climb, kneel, crouch, and work at heights with PPE.

What You Bring

Qualifications require an associate degree (or equivalent experience) and at least four years of quality system management or document control experience. Candidates must understand MIC health and safety programs, participate in daily toolbox meetings, exhibit strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and possess advanced Microsoft Office proficiency with familiarity in Visio, Illustrator, and Adobe PDF, as well as excellent organizational and communication abilities. The role demands up to 12‑hour shifts involving heavy physical work in varied temperatures, including lifting up to 50 lb, climbing, kneeling, and working at heights while wearing required personal protective equipment and adhering to safety and fall‑protection standards. • Associate degree or equivalent experience. • Minimum 4 years in quality system management or document control. • Knowledge of MIC health and safety programs and project regulations. • Demonstrated critical thinking, analysis, decision‑making, and time‑management skills. • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving orientation. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with Visio, Illustrator, Adobe PDF. • Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple concurrent tasks. • Effective communication and collaboration across disciplines. • Ability to work 12‑hour shifts performing hard physical labor in varying weather.

The position is U.S. based and highly mobile, with travel up to 90% of the time. Assignments last 8‑18 months on average, with per diem, mobilization support, mileage reimbursement, and a longer weekend every four weeks for home time.
