About the Role

In this role you will contribute to concept studies, design packages, planning applications and construction issues across a variety of development projects, working on several varied projects at any given time and being supported by the Cambridge team to develop your technical capabilities and career progression. • Contribute to concept studies, design packages, planning applications and construction issues for development projects. • Manage multiple projects across various sectors, ensuring delivery within budget, programme, technical standards and legal requirements. • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal/external design teams to secure approvals and coordinate designs. • Produce infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals, technical reports, design calculations and construction drawings under supervision. • Utilize software such as InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and PDS for design and analysis. • Liaise with highway, water, statutory and local authorities to obtain outline and detailed technical approvals. • Deliver projects such as EDF Energy Sizewell C, HZI Energy Recovery Facility Rookery South, Cambridge Eastern Access, among others. • Provide civil engineering, highways design and earthworks strategies for multidisciplinary projects. • Offer utilities and energy planning, coordination, drainage, flood risk and SuDS design services. • Conduct site appraisal, due diligence and strategic planning advice for public and private sector clients.
