About the Role
• Manage on‑site administrative and technical Quality Assurance program for civil construction activities. • Organize and direct QA inspections across single or multi‑discipline civil projects. • Serve as primary contact for inspectors and coordinate daily QA functions with client representatives. • Attend and support meetings, prepare correspondence, and maintain official construction site records. • Implement and maintain the QA program to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and industry standards. • Review contractor submittals for completeness and compliance, overseeing the Submittal and RFI processes. • Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and inspectors. • Conduct complex inspections, investigations, and tests of on‑site plant, materials, and equipment. • Oversee final inspections, prepare punch lists, and assess work completeness and acceptability. • Document, resolve, and close out deficient or non‑compliant construction installations.

What You Bring

The role oversees administrative and technical QA programs, coordinates inspections, and ensures compliance with design, specifications, and industry standards. The position is based on‑site in Washington, DC, and requires interaction with inspectors, client representatives, and DOD personnel. • BA/BS degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience. • US citizenship required. • Experience in time‑sensitive environments with direct client interaction and high accountability. • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
