About the Role
The Finance Director will lead financing strategies, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and manage all accounting operations including receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting, while overseeing the preparation and review of annual financial reports. • Formulate sector’s strategic direction and support tactical initiatives. • Monitor and drive implementation of business plans. • Develop financial and tax strategies. • Manage capital requests and budgeting processes. • Create performance measures aligning with sector strategy. • Participate as executive management team member in key decisions. • Review bids and pricing proposals. • Conduct monthly project reviews to assess risks. • Maintain relationships with management team members. • Lead finance and accounting teams to achieve goals. • Evaluate long‑range planning and regulatory impacts. • Provide timely budget and business trend analyses for senior executives. • Enhance policies and procedures through improved systems. • Manage accounting department and oversee financial operations, including foreign entities. • Oversee outsourced third‑party functions. • Implement operational best practices. • Supervise acquisition due diligence. • Ensure timely financial reporting and periodic accounting. • Oversee transaction processing systems and enforce SOX/internal controls. • Report financial results to parent organization and monitor sector risk profile.
