About the Role
In this role you will serve as the owner’s representative on multiple construction sites, performing field inspections, construction quality assurance, and oversight of electrical testing and commissioning. You will complete checklists, identify code‑compliance issues, document punch‑list items, and work closely with project managers and the internal weekly program sync to keep documentation current and drive client satisfaction. The position requires frequent travel (≈50‑75% nationwide) to commercial customer sites, managing site schedules, communication with clients and onsite representatives, and coordinating with NETA‑qualified testing vendors. You will assess transformer and relay test results, verify cable testing, troubleshoot automatic transfer switches, and ensure all activities comply with client processes. • Convey project status to clients via discussions, presentations, and reports. • Manage site schedule, travel logistics, client communication, and project budgets. • Engage with multiple stakeholder groups onsite and manage own time effectively. • Inspect and oversee NETA vendor testing of low, medium (480 V) and high‑voltage electrical systems. • Assess power transformer testing results (Doble, TTR, insulation resistance, etc.). • Oversee testing of electro‑mechanical and solid‑state relays; verify cable test results (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot). • Identify deficiencies, create punch‑list items, and ensure compliance with client processes. • Provide oversight for automatic transfer switch troubleshooting.

What You Bring
• Apply experience with low, medium, and high‑voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, relay calibration, and power metering. • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering (or related) and 5+ years of field electrical maintenance in EPC commercial projects. • Ability to identify onsite deficiencies, recommend resolutions, and determine root causes. • Experience working with NETA‑qualified testing vendors and assessing pass/fail of test results. • Proficiency with medium‑voltage infrastructure functional testing of relays. • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Adobe/Bluebeam, and Smartsheet. • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time across the United States.
