About the Role
Key duties include inspecting work quality to meet standards, assisting and problem‑solving for crew members, and enforcing company policies and safety regulations. The foreman also supports crane operations by helping erect and dismantle lattice‑boom cranes, plumb piles using levels, and interpret hand signals to direct pile‑driving activities. Additional tasks involve reading prints, taking measurements for layout, and providing assistance to other craft workers as needed. • Inspect the quality of all work to ensure standards and specifications are met • Assist workers in their duties and resolve problems • Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations • Assist with erection and dismantling lattice boom cranes • Interpret hand signals to direct cranes for pile driving activities • Read prints and take measurements to assist in laying out • Assist other craft workers as needed

What You Bring
The Pile Driver Foreman supervises and coordinates the activities of pile driver workers to ensure work is performed safely, correctly, and on schedule. The role requires knowledge of heavy rigging, preferably with NCCER‑approved basic to advanced rigging certification, and the ability to understand and mitigate safety hazards. Work may take place in plant operations or on construction job sites. Physical demands include lifting or carrying up to 50 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb), repetitive hand and arm use, and the ability to climb, balance, and work on steel or wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. The foreman must navigate uneven, muddy, or loose surfaces, work in confined spaces, and endure adverse weather conditions, while performing activities such as bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Mentally, the position requires clear communication with management, supervisors, and field workers, as well as strong reading, writing, and math skills for interpreting directions and safety policies. The foreman must make decisions, maintain focus amid distractions, remember detailed information, and exhibit strong leadership and motivational abilities.
