Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A

About the Role

The role assists Business Controllers by handling planning, forecasting, scenario analysis and delivering performance insights. It drives faster, more reliable, and higher‑quality forecasting and reporting through automation, advanced analytics and practical AI adoption, while reducing manual effort and execution risk. The analyst leverages AI and automation to improve forecasting accuracy, streamline routine finance tasks, and build scalable dashboards and models. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation, supporting month‑end close, and contributing to internal controls and strategic cost‑management initiatives. • Provide direct analytical support to Business Controllers and senior management for financial decision‑making. • Apply AI‑enabled analytics and predictive techniques to enhance forecasting accuracy and conduct risk and scenario analyses. • Automate routine finance tasks, including variance analysis, reconciliation support, and commentary generation, using tools such as Power BI, Fabric, Copilot, and Python. • Design, implement, and govern an AI enablement framework within Finance, ensuring scalable and practical AI solutions. • Develop and maintain short‑ and long‑term financial models, annual budgets, and rolling quarterly forecasts with validated assumptions. • Translate business requirements into intuitive, KPI‑aligned dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI. • Create and upkeep standard operating procedures, documentation, and shared libraries for dashboards, SQL scripts, and automation workflows. • Support month‑end close, recurring management reporting, and performance review cycles with clear, decision‑oriented insights. • Assist in monitoring and strengthening internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure policy compliance. • Contribute analytical insights to strategic cost‑management initiatives and cross‑functional business projects.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a university degree in accounting, finance or a related field, with a CPA designation considered an asset, and have 4‑5 years of FP&A experience. Experience with Power BI, SQL, large ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and exposure to automation or AI tools like Copilot or Python is preferred. • Hold a university degree in accounting, finance or business administration; CPA designation is a plus. • Possess 4–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with exposure to automation, analytics enablement, or AI tools. • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL (intermediate to complex queries), and large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or FP&A software (Adaptive Insights, Vena, etc.). • Exhibit strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint (including ThinkCell) skills. • Thrive in fast‑paced environments, work collaboratively across organization levels, and maintain a team‑first mindset.
