About the Role

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects. • Track and control critical milestone activities to prevent schedule slips. • Ensure effective project governance, processes and systems are applied. • Produce formal project status reports and related documentation. • Oversee multiple construction projects to verify design standards compliance. • Coordinate supplier interfaces using monthly trackers and weekly reviews. • Facilitate project information flow through regular meetings and written communications. • Forecast and update key project milestones. • Supervise local design teams in line with commission criteria. • Provide technical support to owners, architects, contractors and regional stakeholders, including rapid RFI responses. • Offer cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance as needed. • Independently review status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers. • Develop strong client relationships to maximize new opportunities. • Advise project teams on strategic approaches that meet client and business objectives. • Capture and manage key project learnings and knowledge. • Identify and implement process improvements for internal systems. • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

What You Bring

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for the San Jose team to support large‑scale construction projects. The role involves managing stakeholders, overseeing multiple construction projects, ensuring governance and best practices, and delivering project status reporting. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or a related field, and has 5–7 years of project management experience. Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills are required, along with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore and other construction project management tools.
