About the Role
The Safety Engineer will implement and administer the site safety program, develop site‑specific safety activities, and conduct safety orientations and training. Responsibilities also include documenting and tracking safety violations, performing safety audits, analyzing data, assisting with major incident investigations, and managing OSHA reporting. Additionally, the engineer will review safety submittals, monitor trade partner work plans, manage on‑site injury processes, and organize safety celebrations while participating in project planning and hazard analysis. This position serves as a primary safety resource, providing safety‑related information, evaluating industrial‑hygiene concerns, and maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of safety standards and regulations. The engineer will attend and chair safety meetings, collaborate with client safety personnel, union representatives, and insurance risk engineers, and accompany OSHA personnel on site tours. What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in occupational safety, health, or a related field, or possess a high school diploma with CHST or STS certification, OSHA 30‑hour training, and at least five years of construction experience. A valid driver’s license, strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety software, and a positive, professional attitude are required. The role also demands excellent communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, leadership, public speaking, and the ability to travel up to 100 % of the time. • Required: Bachelor’s/Associate’s in occupational safety or High School + CHST/STS, OSHA 30, 5 years construction experience. • Must hold a valid driver’s license, be detail‑oriented, and proficient with Microsoft Office and safety software. • Strong communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, leadership, public speaking, and ability to travel up to 100 %. • Visa sponsorship not provided; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

The base pay for a Safety Engineer I ranges from $78,800 to $98,500, and for a Safety Engineer II from $81,800 to $110,400, with higher ranges for select office locations such as Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C.
