About the Role
The Electrical Superintendent serves as a critical leader responsible for directing electrical construction projects from inception through completion. This role supervises field leadership, ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in strict accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and project specifications. The superintendent models quality workmanship and fosters a culture of accountability, safety, and pride on all job sites. • Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with NEC and project specs. • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate Electrical Foremen and field crews across multiple sites. • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and job orders. • Plan manpower needs and allocate labor efficiently for concurrent projects. • Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality; proactively resolve issues. • Order, deliver, and manage materials, equipment, and tools to meet project schedules. • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements; conduct site inspections. • Maintain accurate project documentation for labor, schedules, and safety.

What You Bring
The position requires coordination with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades, as well as careful planning of manpower and resource allocation across multiple projects. Accurate documentation of labor, schedules, and safety activities is essential, and clear communication with management, foremen, and field personnel is expected. The role is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a license to work as an Electrical Superintendent. Physical demands include standing, climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in diverse weather conditions.
