Inspect, test, assess, and commission building enclosures for existing structures.
Job Highlights
About the Role
Key responsibilities include managing inspection and testing projects, performing air‑leakage and field performance testing, conducting roofing assessments, reviewing design specifications, and providing construction quality‑assurance observations. The associate will also prepare reports and proposals, maintain client databases, manage budgets and invoicing, mentor junior staff, and ensure a safe workplace with proper PPE usage. • Conduct inspections, testing, and assessments of building enclosures. • Perform air‑leakage and field performance testing. • Provide construction quality‑assurance observations and roofing assessments. • Review design specifications and offer commissioning consulting. • Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and maintain client databases. • Manage project budgets, prepare invoices, and mentor junior staff. • Promote workplace safety and proper PPE usage. • Lead high‑impact, technically complex projects. • Participate in Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with a B.Arch, M.Arch (NCARB) or a BS in Engineering, Building Science, or a related ABET‑accredited field preferred. At least two years of building enclosure consulting experience are required, and IIBEC certifications such as RRO, RRC, REWO, REWC, or RBEC are encouraged. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; B.Arch/M.Arch or BS Engineering preferred. • Minimum two years of building enclosure consulting experience. • IIBEC certifications (RRO, RRC, REWO, REWC, RBEC) are encouraged.
