About the Role
The Non‑Certified Electrician role supports residential solar and battery installations, providing electrical expertise to ensure compliance with national and local building codes. Responsibilities include leading the installation of electrical systems that connect solar arrays to the grid, performing main panel upgrades, troubleshooting, and commissioning, as well as stepping in for the foreman when needed. The position also collaborates with the PV installation crew, homeowners, and local inspectors to complete system upgrades and maintain safety standards. • Lead installation of residential solar and battery systems, ensuring NEC and local code compliance. • Perform main panel upgrades, electrical troubleshooting, and service work as required. • Plan and safely complete solar battery installations and MPUs per state certification rules. • Coordinate with branch teams, homeowners, and inspectors to address system upgrades and inspections. • Enforce OSHA standards and safety practices on photovoltaic job sites.
