About the Role

The Technical Product Manager will lead the technical aspects of product lifecycles, gather and translate customer requirements into roadmaps, and manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver programs on time and within budget. They will serve as the primary interface with customers and executive leadership, ensure milestones are met, and mitigate program risks. Additionally, they will drive business growth by creating innovative concepts, supporting customers, and performing market research to qualify new opportunities. • Lead technical aspects of product lifecycles and design EW capabilities (hardware and software). • Gather and analyze industry and customer requirements to develop technical roadmaps and product strategies. • Manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve program objectives on time and within budget. • Serve as primary interface with customers and executive leadership, providing project status reports. • Ensure program milestones are met, manage risks, and oversee cost, schedule, and performance. • Develop innovative technical concepts across hardware, real‑time software, signal processing, integration and test. • Engage with client decision makers to showcase capabilities and shape future opportunities. • Represent the business to key customers, delivering technical support and resolving issues. • Oversee geographically diverse engineering teams and subcontractors to deliver contract deliverables. • Conduct market research to qualify new business opportunities, analyzing budgets, capabilities, competition, and acquisition strategies. • Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, and partners to gain market insight on requirements and acquisition timing. • Communicate regularly with operating group leads, functional managers, technical staff, and customers.

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Technical Product Manager with a proven record of driving technical excellence in product management, program execution, and business growth. The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset to work with existing and new customers, developing advanced solutions for challenging communications systems, electronic warfare (EW), digital signal processing (DSP), and signals intelligence (SIGINT) problems. An engineering background is essential, as the position involves technical development work and leading technical designs. Candidates must have at least eight years of relevant experience, including three years as a Technical Program or Product Manager, and a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience as a solutions architect for EW or software‑centric products, strong leadership of small multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to produce technical reports are required. Expertise in EW, SIGINT, DSP, or communications systems and U.S. citizenship are also mandatory. Preferred candidates have experience working in a research and development environment, can operate independently while maintaining frequent communication, and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. This position is part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions team, which delivers resources to U.S. government customers to support defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental missions. • Possess 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years as a Technical Program or Product Manager. • Hold a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Experience as a solutions architect for EW and/or software‑centric products. • Demonstrated ability to lead small multidisciplinary technical teams and deliver projects. • Strong written communication skills, including preparation of technical reports and documentation. • Expertise in EW, SIGINT, DSP, and/or communications systems. • U.S. citizenship is required. • Experience in a research and development environment is preferred. • Ability to operate independently while providing frequent communications and updates. • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
