Client Service Manager- Water- Inland Empire
Manage client relationships and grow municipal water accounts in Inland Empire.

About the Role
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients, including city governments, utilities, and public agencies. • Act as the client’s voice within GHD, ensuring priorities and challenges are understood and addressed. • Lead and mentor a Client Engagement Team to deliver innovative, municipality‑specific solutions. • Create and execute annual growth plans for municipal accounts with 3‑5 year horizons. • Monitor public spending trends, regulatory changes, and infrastructure investments to identify new opportunities. • Identify and pursue business development prospects in water, transportation, and urban development sectors. • Collaborate with technical teams to align proposals with client preferences during bidding and delivery phases. • Maintain an active pipeline of projects and pursuits, tracking opportunity pipeline and booking targets. • Represent GHD at municipal meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote brand and capabilities. • Oversee CRM system implementation and maintenance, recommending improvements for better customer relationship management. • Serve as subject‑matter expert in technology, policy, regulation, or operational management and maintain relevant accreditations. • Develop relationship management plans for complex existing and prospective accounts, facilitating two‑way communication and issue resolution. • Consult with diverse customer representatives to clarify medium‑ to long‑term needs and develop specifications. • Create sales opportunities by networking with senior managers, obtaining market intelligence, and enhancing GHD’s reputation. • Develop internal marketing plans and collaborate across departments to strengthen internal and external customer relationships.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; PE license preferred. • Minimum 10 years of client service or relationship management experience, preferably with municipal or public‑sector clients. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders. • Proficiency with CRM tools (especially Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strategic thinker with a client‑centric mindset and strong understanding of municipal operations, governance, and procurement.
